It's not that complete because I didn't want to spoil it too much.PlayTube is one of the most popular video-sharing platforms in the United States. > so this is the plot that i came up with after watching.

She tells him she's sorry and confesses her love over and over again. In this letter, Kaori confesses that she actually wasn't in love with Watari, but Kousei instead. Kousei is left with a heart-wrenching letter from Kaori. Sadly, it turns out Kaori did not survive. While she goes through this surgery, Kousei is facing a piano competition in hopes that his music while reach her heart and help her survive the surgery. However, she wants to have one more duet with Kousei so she accepts the surgery. She is offered surgery by the docters, but the chances of survival are very slim and if it succeeds, it will only lengthen her life span by only a few years. Because of this, she doesn't have a long time to live. Actually, Tsubaki is jealous of Kaori because she and Kousei are linked with music, whereas Tsubaki isn't.Ī surprising plot twist happens and it turns out that Kaori is sick with a deathly disease. Little did he know that his childhood friend (and the one who introduced Kaori), Tsubaki, was in love with him. But he can't do anything because Kaori is in love with Watari. Everyone in the audience is shocked, firstly because they witnessed a prodigy crumble and second because Kaori and Kousei started to play again from the top.Īfter a while, Kousei realizes that he is in love with Kaori. However, Kaori lifts him up and tells him to start over from the beginning. But in the middle of the performance, Kousei isn't able to hear the notes because he sees his mothers spirit. Together they practice hard as not to stumble on the big day. However, when advancing to the next round, Kaori demands that Kousei, or Friend A as she calls him, to be her accompanist (playing the piano). However, during a competition, this is considered disgraceful, because it changes the way the composer wanted the song to be. Kaori is a violinist and has a unique playing skill which allows her to make the song her own. One day, he meets a girl, Miyazono Kaori, who is supposedly in love with his best friend, Watari. I think this is linked because his mother was the one who pushed him into playing the piano and so after she died, he was traumatized and because of the strong connection between his mother and the piano, his ability to play like before was destroyed.

However, after his mother's death, for some reason he cannot seem to hear the notes he plays on the piano. Kousei has been connected to the piano every since a young age and is able to play EXACTLY LIKE THE SCORE (the sheet music). This anime features Arima Kousei, a piano prodigy, as the main character.
